Pras Michel, a member of the legendary hip-hop group The Fugees, recently reignited old tensions with Lauryn Hill after their planned North American tour was unexpectedly canceled. In a newly revealed track titled “Bar Mitzfa,”

Pras takes aim at Hill, seemingly holding her responsible for the tour’s downfall. The lyrics, which have yet to be officially released but were obtained by AllHipHop, include a pointed jab: “Don’t blame me, blame her/She made the mess/Not another f-ckin’ penny, what I told ‘Clef.”

This development follows a statement made by Lauryn Hill, who addressed the tour cancellation last week. Hill clarified that while the North American dates were canceled, the UK and European shows would proceed as planned. She attributed the decision to ongoing challenges, including an injury that had previously forced her to reschedule some shows. Hill also criticized certain media outlets for spreading sensationalized narratives, which she believes have negatively impacted ticket sales in North America.

While Wyclef Jean, the third member of The Fugees, has remained silent on the matter, Pras hasn’t held back. In a recent interview with TMZ, Pras hinted at long-standing issues within the group, stating, “I saved her reputation for 20 years by not telling my side of the story. But oops… cat’s out the bag.”

The Fugees, who first came together in 1992, became one of the most influential hip-hop groups of their time. However, their journey was cut short when they disbanded in 1997, reportedly due to a complicated romantic relationship between Wyclef Jean and Lauryn Hill. Despite the years that have passed, it seems that old wounds are still far from healing.
